Charcuterie Board Ingredients

Did someone say charcuterie board? If you are searching for some tips on how to make the perfect charcuterie board, you have landed in the right place!

The best part about a charcuterie board is that you can be as creative as you want with it. Here are some ingredients that you may want to use in your next board.

1. Meat
When I make my board, I prefer to use Genoa Salami. It is my favorite for charcuterie meat boards. It also has a good range of nutrients, including vitamin B, and sodium.

2. Fruit
Apples and pears go best with cheese. You could also try dried apricots, as their sweetness complements all the ingredients in the platter. Dates, dried cherries, and figs, would all also give an attractive look and be delicious at the same time.

3. Pickles
Pickled red onions, pickled okra, pickled cauliflower, pickled mushrooms, or pickled carrots all make for a great addition to your charcuterie board.

4. Cheese
Cheese is a must have for any charcuterie board. Some different cheeses to add include: cheddar, blue cheese, parmesan, or provolone, but the choice of cheese is up to you!

5. Crackers
Crackers add a great crunch to any board. There are many crackers to choose from, so pick your favorite. The salty crunch can be a great addition to any board.

6. Bread
You can choose the bread of your choice. Warm bread makes a great addition to any board as well.

You can serve your board with champagne or sparkling wine, as they go best with salty dishes. But you can always serve it with whatever drink is your favorite.
