Unique Cocktails

Somedays it’s hard to jump out of your comfort zone and try things you would have never thought to try before. When it comes to having a drink after a long day or if you’re out with your friends, a drink will help you loosen up a little! For National Cocktail Day we have found a few unique, must-drink, cocktails that should be on your list to try soon! It might take you out of your element, but it will be an adventure tasting each!

 

Prohibition Cocktail

Ingredients-

¼ cup moonshine (substitute with bourbon if not available)

2 tbs Amaro Montenegro

2 tbs shiraz

Juice of 1 lemon

1 tbs maple syrup

1 eggwhite

Ground cinnamon, to serve

 

Directions-

Place all ingredients into a shaker with 3 ice cubes. Shake for 1 minute to combine and then pour into two glasses. Garnish with cinnamon and serve!

Cotton Candy Marg

Ingredients-

1 oz. Tequila

½ oz. Triple Sec

¾ oz. Lime Juice

1 oz. Cream Soda

Pink Cotton Candy

Pink sugar for the rim

Lime for garnish

 

Directions-

Rim the edge of your glass in corn syrup and then dip it into the pink sugar. In an ice filled glass combine your tequila, triple sec, lime juice, and cream soda. Stir it.

Place your pink cotton candy into the glass and pour on the mix. Garnish with a lime wheel.

Phoenix Cocktail

Ingredients-

1 oz. coconut rum

2 oz. pineapple mango juice

1 oz. pomegranate liquor

 

Directions-

Combine your coconut rum and pineapple mango juice in a shaker over ice. Shake until chilled. Prepare a glass by pouring the pomegranate liquor in first then strain the shaken mixture over the top. Serve with a garnish of freshly sliced pineapple.

 Redhead

Ingredients-

3 parts Absolut Elyx

2 parts carrot juice

1 part lemon juice

1 part honey

2 sprigs Coriander

Top with Ginger Beer

Directions-

Shake all ingredients with cubed ice, then strain over crushed ice in a cup. Top with ginger beer, more ice, and garnish with carrot slices.
